For metallic and pearlescent colours, I've actually found nail polish can be pretty nice. Maybe try that?

My Frieza has a paint chip in his shin. I'm not sure where it came from, and I'm guessing finding a metallic purple to match it would be troublesome. Other than that, all my Figuarts are in perfect shape. howd you get over the paint chip? im sure you were upset for a while after noticing it

I didn't. It still haunts my dreams to this very day...

All of my figures are in perfect shape, except Piccolo. I've had him the 2nd longest and over time I somehow scuffed a tiny part the paint on his thigh. It's barely visible though.

It's barely visible though. use any sort of method to get over the damage? and thanks a bunch gil ! i took your advice and scrapped off the white paint on the side skirt! Now theres just the green paint on the front part of the skirt. it blends in and looks like shading so its all good that wont show up in photos as easy as the white spots!

There's not much I can do that would make a difference.

dude are you serious, these are nothing! These could easily pass as manufacturing inconsistencies. You definitely have nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't count them as "broken" but I've only had my SS Goku for a week and his right foot pops off the ball joint every time I move it. The peg that holds Krillins disc also came apart when I unplugged it from his hand, but I was able to find the itty bitty pieces and fix it.
I did break a Play Arts Kai Solidus Snake out of the package though. One of his katana snapped as I pushed it out of the plastic holding slot, and his left thigh got super loose the first time I tested his leg joints and now he can't stand without a 12" doll stand. Best $120 I ever spent.

Speaking of damaged figures I walked into my room to find my Hot Toys Iron Man on his face. He didn't fall off a shelf or anything but I almost had a stroke. Thank God there was no damage or paint chipping

Ugh PAK. One of the best and worst figure lines to come out in recent years.
They're getting ridiculous now though, pricing their figures $100+ and they can never make up their mind on what scale they should be. Their figures have jumped from a standard 7-8 inches tall to around 10-11 inches with recent releases.
