I fear you are unknowingly paralleling my advice/intentions with your own insecurities, possibly derived from previous negative interactions or unresolved issues. Any you would be mistaken in doing so. To my knowledge no-one here has ever about you behind your back. I believe you have somehow convoluted yourself into perceiving my critics as being personal attacks on your character or abilities. That is not my intention. True, I am not one to shower you, or anyone for that matter, in praises. That's not who I am. So don't expect a big pat on the back from me any time soon. Everyone else might be happy to revel in mediocrity, but not me. I see great potential in your work/abilities, which is why I'm giving you the straight dope.
I have been witness to some pretty terrible customs in my time. A lot of which looked like complete garbage. In such a case, I choose to do exactly what you suggested, skirt around them quietly - whilst choking on my own vomit. FYI These aren't any such customs. So quit being such a melodramatic, temperamental child.
I am an adult. So I expect everyone else to behave like adults. Alas, this is not always the case.

no hate. disappointment maybe, but no hate. you have to understand, a few of us here are perfectionists and we can't easily ignore minor flaws. granted you are subject to more negatively laced remarks than most and as someone who has said a few negative things I'd like to apologize...BUT it should be perfectly clear people want to see your work improve and this goes for SupremeKai as well. stay as long as you want and keep posting. you aren't inspiring anything close to hatred, I think I can safely speak for everyone when I say we all want to see you get better and keep posting here.

I usually stay out of these discussions, but I guess I'll go ahead and say something.
You're suffering from a common issue that creators face, you focus on negativity. If you go back through all of your feedback, the majority of it is praise or well mannered criticism. That's what you should focus on, the majority. Most of the people on here, do not hate you. They enjoy seeing your work and they want to see you improve. However, occasionally someone will post mildly aggressive criticism, and then your thread turns into unnecessary drama for a few pages. Just enjoy the praise, listen to the advice, and avoid conflict, and everything will be super-special-awesome. Alright? Alright.
♪ All I wanna do, is see you turn into, a Super Saiyan. ♪
I feel I shouldnt say anything BUT I think a lot of people would act defensively if they were called amongst other things an ' imbecile' ...as lets face it, it is disrespectful, and no matter the intention of any criticism if it isn't responded to how you would deem fit, then... ?
anyway all of this is old now , in future 1andonly5711 just keep the advice of ◄VR► in mind... i'd even go so far as to print out his last sentence and stick it on your wall as a reminder!!
Nobody hates you here 1andonly, in fact I would say everybody here likes you. As an artist you have to learn to take criticism from others, because most of the time they are just trying to help you grow better and better. That's what every single criticism Adrenaline and I post, because we're pointing out some weaknesses, so you can learn from them, and the best thing to do is try to improve where you are weak. While SupremeKai is gruff and offensive in the way he states his opinion, his basic message is that you have talent, but you should try to learn about anatomy, because the muscles you sculpt and the proportions of things would improve if you developed an eye for seeing anatomy better. Sometimes I get frustrated commenting the same thing over and over, but that's because my eyes and brain just detect proportions so much. Being able to see when something isn't long enough is a skill you need to develop (and Tamashii for that matter... I'm not sure why their Android 18 has such short arms!). What I would suggest is get a book from the library about either drawing humans or about anatomy and take a look at it and figure some things out. Heck, look at a Victoria's Secret catalog and you'll figure out what could be considered ideal proportions regarding arm and leg length. Pay attention to where elbows typically hit the body, where hands come down to. DBZ proportions are typically different from real life, with Goku and others having slightly shorter arms than real life people. Perfect Cell's manga and anime design has longer shins than thighs, which is unnatural for humans, and really important to his design. You could just Google and try to find something as well if you wanted, looking at full body pics of the character while engineering the proportions to be the right lengths helps enough, but sculpting muscles from flat drawings from the anime is pretty difficult. If you have figures with a lot of muscles that look natural, have that figure on your desk while you sculpt and reference it. That's what I do. I put something on my desk and try to copy it.
My weakness is sculpting clothes and I rarely have to sculpt muscles though. I still struggle with sculpting clothes. I struggle a lot. Armor is no big deal, but when it comes to sculpting wrinkled DBZ shirts and pants, I have a really hard time. I realize this weakness, and I try to improve on it. I can sculpt a character's head really quite quickly and easily, but I have to spend more time doing clothes because I want to improve and do a good job.
So anyway, I don't think you're taking people's comments the right way. We aren't here to bully you or insult you. I would suspend or ban people for that. We're here to enjoy your work and try to help you improve. You're just taking the comments wrong.
Gohan looks perfect! The Cell looks pretty cool too, just missing those little spots in the middle of his chest. The GT characters to me are ok, but I don't really care about GT; GT isn't cannon in my mind (Or Toriyama's for that matter LOL)
Raditz looks pretty cool, just as you mention the shins (Lower legs) look a little bit small. If you fix that , he's golden

I think you did a perfect job on cell's body. Just some improvement on the face like you said. You did very good improvements on Raditz's face. He looks great. GT characters are both very well executed in my opinion and they don't need any improvement except for maybe some dark eye shading.
Cell 2nd form is pretty good. I think you did a pretty good job on sculpting his face. He doesn't look expressionless like a few previous customs. His chest could be smoother and his fists bigger like I suggested, but he was done well. 8/10
Raditz had a lot of potential. Unfortunately the face got little change from what was suggested. His hair line is too high and eyes still too big, which makes him look like he is 18 years old, but the armor is done quite well. I wish his calf muscles were bigger too. His boots could use a touchup on the lines. Glad you added the bands though. Good paint work as usual. 6/10
Gohan got wider hair? Nice! Didn't expect it.
Super 17's body is really good, but he's looking up in every pic. The pupils would have been better painted in full, than semi-circles under the eye lid. 8/10
SS4Goku is alright. His hair is odd though and the eyes don't strike me as SS4Goku. 7/10
SS4Vegeta's paints are perfect. Where did you get those from? I think he looks better than the Goku. His hair line would use some touchup paint on evening out and one head has yellow eyes...But still very well done. 9/10
As for what was previously said, I have to agree. Just got to take the criticism in stride. Believe me, once you make the improvements that people suggest, they notice it and it becomes one less thing for them to be picky about. When you don't listen to them and then repeat the same mistake, that can tick some people off like myself. It's time wasted if they're not listened to. Of course, some suggestions may not be right. I don't listen to every bit of advice because sometimes, the suggestion is more based on a preference or just a bad angle, but I know when something doesn't look right and can agree with it completely when it's mentioned. @supremekai is right in what he said to you. Sure, he can and has been overly aggressive before in how he states his opinion, but he is spot on here. He admitted that your talent is there and just wanted to see it get better. I am the same way. I don't want to keep grading these customs as 7s (even though my grades don't mean anything, but they do come from a customizer 14 years in the making) You should want to see more 9s. With a 10 every now and then. As of now, you get more comments than anyone on their work. Maybe because you produce the most finished customs, but a lot of it is praise too. Be grateful for that, but focus on the advice.
Collection Goal Update: 501 Characters Down, 499 To Go
I like the Semiperfect Cell, I saved the pics of him to my computer.
Raditz doesn't look finished to me, but I think you said you weren't finished with him yet. The calves are way too skinny and you need to lower his hairline so he has less forehead and his eyes should be squinty. The armor looks really nice though.
Super 17 looks pretty good, I don't pay a lot of attention to DBGT so I don't know what to say.
I like the fur on SS4 Goku and his hair looks pretty great too.
The SS4 Vegeta is a total knockout with only one little complaint. His upper arms suffer from that lack of realistic anatomy I mentioned before. Still, this is pretty damn cool, so I saved the pics. I'm glad you made the fur sculpt on the arms and body match, as that was something I was critical about on a previous SS4 character or several in the past.
Gohan!!! So cute. I like him. Saving the pics... That would be the custom I'd buy from you if I was a hardcore Figuarts collector.
