I think if they did a buildable figure, Chiaotzu is the perfect option, considering whom his pieces could come with while satisfying demand. Release his head with Tien, his torso with Yamcha, legs with Roshi, and his accessories with Yajirobe or Bulma. Done. Everyone wants those first three figures pretty much and Bulma is the most popular female in the series and wouldn't have much accessories to come with (neither would Yajirobe) so they're good options to combine the Chiaotzu's accessories with. Lets face it, it's hard enough trying to get them to release Tien, that trying to get them to release Tien with Chiaotzu too is almost plain dreaming now.
Guldo is an ok option, but they'd have to release his parts with Ginyu, Recoome, Jeice, and Burter for it to make sense and I think there's a better chance we get the rest of the Z Warriors before them. BUT once they make the Ginyu Force, it's got to be an almost definite option!

I think having a buildable figure is very suitable for the unpopular releases that fall into character groups like guldo and the ginyus, chaozu and the z fighters, android 19 and the androids (too late for that) etc.

Since a Cell Jr didn't come with Cell, I doubt a Chiaotzu will come with Tien unless they doubt Tien will make sales and adding Chiaotzu will help. Or just make him into pieces and force fans to buy the other less favorable Z Warriors. I doubt there is anyone that wants Chiaotzu and would resell the Tien, Yamcha, and Roshi he came with. If they want him, they'd want those characters too. It's a win-win strategy.

Because babidi was there for bu at those points Idk so much for the super buus because he wasnt really there for him. Even though it was buu that killed him xp

Yeah, a Babidi would be great... For this to happen: minus the head of course, just a burnt out neck with purple blood.

I would really hate to have to buy Master Roshi (who I wouldn't buy) just to get Chaozu parts. They don't have to conform to a specific price like Marvel Legends does. Marvel Legends figures are all the same price at stores. Figuarts are $30 to $65+. So they damn well better include small characters like Chaozu with Tien in entirety instead of making me buy something I don't want, just to get parts. That's so dumb. Any other BAD ideas guys?

Idk. Til this day im skeptical about this figuarts line. Because i have a feeling that they are only going to do the main characters and people that 'made' dbz happen. Leaving a lot of characters out of the line that would be great in the line.
I dont wamt this to happen though. Itd be a shame.
But the way they are going now i have less worries about that

Branjita but you don't collect any figuarts. lol Most of the Figuart collectors will buy just about anyone and Roshi leads one of the polls and was on one of Bandai's initial polls. Heck, I wouldn't get him either, but it would be a good idea still. He would be cool and you know it.

But, would it be normal Roshi...or, beefy Roshi? I'll honestly buy most of these, so I wouldn't care if they were set up in a BAF fashion. I do think a 2 pack would be the more realistic option, since they've done it enough times already. But, if they could go the BAF route and keep the figures at about the same price it would be an even better plus. If we get a Nappa, I will want a Chiaotzu to put on his back.

Judging by how cost efficient and cheap they are, I honestly think having a BAF strategy adopted by bandai is so much more realistic than making double packs. Branjita Chaozu and master roshi don't technically fall into the same character group. But if they would've released parts of Chaozu with tien, yamcha, goku and krillin, you wouldn't think it's a bad idea then right?

The problem with going the BAF route is the off chance that the full figure may not get completed.
Figuarts take time to produce and be released while only being 1 figure every few months unlike western figures where all of the BAF parts are released in the same wave at the same time.
I don't think Figuarts would be optimized or engineered for BAF collecting either. We keep hearing reports of people with bicep problems, unable to connect them to the arms, Scouter Vegeta loose leg problems etc.
I say either stick with full singular releases or 2-packs.

Gonstead stated a really a good point, it's doesnt make sense for tamashii to engineer and optimize 5 figures at the same time only to have them get released over a span of a year or more. The only way this would be feasible is if they release all five figures together which is impossible judging by their strategy.

They just don't do this sort of thing, BAF is prominent in capsule figures and blind box sets, not high end collectible sets. We already seen things like multi-packs from Tamashii with the upcoming Ghidorah and the Dorats, the Kamen Rider henchmen packs for example, so it can happen with the Dbz releases as well.
