I just got an AB Janemba I bought from ebay, he was MIB but had no tail in the box. Does anyone know if this is a variant of some kind or probably a factory error or could a former owner have removed the tail and somehow sealed the box up again?

We'll need to see a pic of the packaging.

I can tell by looking at it, there is supposed to be a tail, you can see where it should be.

Those can't be opened without it being obviously cut as far as I know. Yes, he should have had a tail.

I guess factory error seems most logical, thanks.

That's got to be pretty disappointing to discover if you didn't notice before purchasing. The mistake where they didn't paint his white accents is more common I think, but I've never looked for one missing the tail or would have noticed. I'm not sure why some are in a clamshell and some are in a blister pack. I think both were French releases. The Mexican release says "Super Guerrero" instead of "Guerriers" and I'm not sure if they made Janemba... I don't think they did. saiyen is our AB expert here. I only collected them loose except Android 15, who I had to get MIP and open to get him again after selling my original full set.

Sorry to hear about this, man. Personally speaking, Janemba is my favorite AB figure, I would have been utterly crushed if mine had arrived without the tail.

Is there a market for factory error dbz toys? My opinion, very cool, amazing find! I say keep it sealed and display it for what it is, a rare factory miss assembled figure.

It kinda sucks I didn't get the tail but I'm still gonna keep him. Hopefully I can find a cheap Janemba I can get an extra tail for.

Is there a market for factory error dbz toys? In general, not really. They're seen as defective and less valuable than flawless figures. A defect would have to be really entertaining to get money. Shiffty owns a very weird brother vs brother Jakks two pack that I don't know if it's a defect or what it is. I'd say that makes his pretty valuable. A Janemba without a tail or without white paint is just kind of unfortunate

At least my Janemba showed up, the Yajarobi I ordered is MIA even though tracking says it was delivered so I cant get refund.

Sounds like you've had some lousy luck. I hope it passes.

Maybe his tail has materialized somewhere else. Janemba has been known to do crap like that.

You're looking at it all wrong. It seems to me you got a rare MIB one of a kind production defect Janemba. Probably worth thousands
