I was going to post this under Goku's true age thread. Then I decided this is going to go way off topic.
I wonder what ever happened with chiaotzu. From what I remember he was royalty in Dragon Ball. It was never mentioned again in dbz/gt. He would have an interesting story. I think Chiaotzu would have been assassinated. To make it interesting possibly Pilaf did it. To add on the speculation maybe Tien survived the assassination to find out his task of protecting Chiaotzu failed.
Have an interesting plot not elaborated on db/dbz/gt? Want to make up a random Dragon Ball related topic? Have a side story to characters? Hell, it's fictional anything works. This is the place.

The movie where he is royalty is just kind of a fun movie. I don't think it has any bearing on the actual series. It's a neat movie though, I haven't watched it in forever! My favorite thing is still this comic somebody in some Asian country put together in Photoshop. I dubbed it into English (not by translating... just doing whatever I wanted). What if Krillin didn't get revived the first time he died and Tien joined Roshi for training? I just saw those episodes of DB today and asked myself what things may have been like.
I think Yamcha and Tien would have turned out like brothers and I would have loved to have seen that relationship play out. It gets tricky when I think about Goku, his development, and who his new best friend would be. I'll come back to this after I see more episodes and think about it a bit more.

I always wonder what would've happened if Vegeta were the one to kill Frieza. Or if Goku didn't want to step out of the spotlight in the Cell saga.

Vegeta becoming a Super Saiyan against Frieza would be interesting.
Piccolo would be dead, and Goku, Gohan, and Krillin would be the relatively powerless spectators to Vegeta and Frieza's fight. Vegeta pulls the last trick up his sleeve (Final Burst Cannon? Great Ape? I don't know how to replace the Spirit Bomb), but Frieza survives! When Frieza fatally injures Goku and kills Gohan, Vegeta's rage about the injustices of the Saiyans crosses the threshold and becomes a Super Saiyan! He orders Krillin to take Goku back to the spaceship, then he finally gets his revenge upon Frieza! And, unlike Goku, Vegeta would definitely finish the job with Frieza.

Or if Goku didn't want to step out of the spotlight in the Cell saga. Goku would have lost anyway. He even admits he would have been no match for Cell and that Cell wasn't even displaying his full power. |

Goku doesn't quit because he's "passing the mantle" or anything, it's because he actually lost the fight and he knows that only Gohan is strong enough to continue it.

I guess I always just held the idea Goku didn't give it everything he had. Given it wouldn't be the first time he was losing and he came back to win.
But fair enough; that reminds me why I didn't like that saga as much as previous ones.

I've always had one with a fusion.
Majin Buu absorbs Gohan right before him and Goku are about to fuse, and the earring is dropped just like in the series. Goku considers Dende and Mr. Satan, but there was another fighter there that he didn't even give a second thought to, and that was Tien who was knocked out but still alive. What if Goku had Dende heal Tien, and they became, uh.. Go..ken..shin...han? Or, Tie..oku? Whatever the hell the name would be, it would be neat. I think Tien's diciplined personality would dominate over Goku's goofy one. Plus that fusion wouldn't be so overpowering like Vegito was, so I mean it would be a real fight to the death, not just Vegeto being a dick for 3 episodes. Vegeta was on his way at the time so it would be "Tieoku" and Vegeta fighting together against Buu. They'd both finish him, and then a wish would be made to seperate Goku and Tien.

Hm, very interesting..! Goku and Tien fusing would really come out of left field. Seems like a typical Toriyama twist!
I like the idea of Tien and Yamcha fusing into Tiencha, like in Budokai 2.
What would be cool, is if after the Buu saga there's some giant threat that involves massive armies of foes, so that everyone, like EVERYONE is fighting.
From the Demon World, an army of Demons appears for a badly elaborated reason! So while Goku, Vegeta and Gohan go into Demon World and fight the really strong guys, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, maybe Tiencha, Gotenks, Yaijirobe, Android 18, Chichi, Master Roshi, basically ANYONE who has above average fighting skills in the DB universe is keeping the massive army at bay. How good would THAT be?

This thread was an awesome idea. These could make bootleg quality comics.  Sounds interesting, (at the least) you would have people from various martial arts tournaments all of a sudden showing up! How cool would it be for Korin to actually fight! Then what if that cat guy actually has a super Saiyan power level! Just saying his power level is debatable. I like the idea of having a battle in "hell". That would make for an epic Lord of the rings style dbz movie. I have a couple fusion possibilities. Many of these just aren't possible but fun to ponder. What if they got the earrings? The red and blue guy from hell. Supreme kai and grand kai Brolly and Bardock Frieza and Cooler Pikkon and Olibu Krillin and Tapkar (world games) The last one is a long shot, really long. What if Marvel got together with Akira! All you have to say is worm hole and it makes sense. Lol Goku and Superman! |

I reckon that Jeice and Burter would make a cool Potara earring fusion.
They'd have purple skin. The weird head patch thing that Burter has but around that long white hair like Jeice. They would have solid red eyes like Burter, but they would have a nose like Jeice. They'd have the height of Burter, but they would have Jeice's armor style, white sections with underwear thing instead of pants.
The name; Jurcer! Attacks: Purple Spiral Flash and Purple Comet Attack of course!
