For all this figure did wrong, I gotta say I love the reinforced neck joint he sports. I just wish they could have reinforced his waist. The waist does get a bit wobbly during posing but just remember to push it back in place after you get it the way you want and it's all good.

Exactly. One you get used to the weight of the hair he is just as fun to pose as any other Figuarts figure.

The hardest one for me to pose is Freeza. I can get SSJ3 Goku to stand pretty well while Freeza just flops all over the place.

I feel like if they hollowed certain parts, at least a little to make them lighter, they could save on materials and stop characters from falling over.

Nah, it's the tail that weighs him down.

You should just use the tail to balance him

Nah, it's the tail that weighs him down. Well, that's what i mean. Some of those solid pieces and tilt the center of mass. Edit: I finally got him standing just now, so I guess it isn't too bad. Now I got both SSJ3 Goku and Freeza standing on their own.

I think the only real difference between SS and SS2 with Goku would be the electricity effect. I'm pretty sure his hair stays the same.

Main way to tell between a SSJ and a SSJ2 is the difference in how spiky their hair is. Some cases (Gohan and Goku) also have a bang of hair which hangs down the forehead.
