Raditz looks interesting. He needs some minor fixes though. Straighten the head on the neck, seal his shoulder armor, and minor paint touch ups. I think his waist flaps a little long, but maybe it's me. Good sculpt work on the muscles.
Majin Vegeta is coming along. I would really look into resculpting that face. I think it's one of the worst Figuarts faces. At least for Majin Vegeta, he needs to show the evil in his face. And repaint the hair too. Good job on the veins.
Collection Goal Update: 501 Characters Down, 499 To Go
On Raditz, the right forearm looks like it needs to be dremeled more because something wacky is going on near his elbow. Everything is looking great. Am I understanding correctly that you are NOT going to use the old head? If not, then I won't critique it.
The Majin Vegeta looks great. Good luck cutting out the M! So far nobody else has had luck. It's really tiny. You might just have to use an x-acto knife, cut it out, and use the surroundings as a stencil for painting it on easily.
Sorry about your old pics disappearing. I tried to only make the deletions affect people who haven't posted customs as attachments lately, but I forgot to exclude you and some others when I was going through the process. The interface for deleting attachments isn't exactly user friendly, as I can't see what I am deleting.
I'm still working on Raditz's hair but he's almost done. But here's my finished Majin Vegeta (sorry Branjita I couldn't use the Majin stickers! I almost had one but my dog bumped my table at the wrong time...!):
Made improvements to his hair (more of the platinum blonde look) and added a small bit of sculpting for his "smirk" face. I also increased his neck size and some more veins.
You haven't figured it out yet? I'm the Saiyan who came all the way from Earth for the sole purpose of beating you. I am the warrior you've heard of in legends, pure of heart and awakened by fury. That's what I am. I AM THE SUPER SAIYAN, SON GOKU!
So after many hours of work on this guy, here is my finished Raditz:
I'm happy that I finished him, however, he's not that practical for stop-motion animation. One, his hair is a little too heavy, two I think I added a little too much muscle which ends up making him rather heavy overall to move (like his damn thighs are massive), and three I'm not completely satisfied with his overall look. I like him much more than my first Raditz custom but I think I'm going to take another crack at him.
I really like how this one turned out. I added some more spikes (thanks Branjita!) and painted the feet tips yellow/gold (thanks Wave!). The base figure was a Datong SSJ Vegeta (which is a pretty great figure to modify). I need to make some more hands now and eventually make a battle-damaged version. Hope you guys/girls like him!
I'm not a big fan of S.H. Figuarts or similar figures! Maybe because I'm out of the age, but you do it safely with much love for these figures! That takes a lot of time, to see juanpe! No matter what we collect for figures or make, we love Dragon Ball! Keep it up !!!
