I just started getting into collecting figures this year, so I am not 100% sure. I think he has been released more than 2 times. That's what I thought, too. I hope they continue to do that. yes sir.

I think that if Tamashii wants to have DBZ Figuarts a "presence", they do need to consistently release more Goku stock (Regular and SSJ). I think it's pretty obvious they made A LOT as this is the first time I've seen a price hike.
People have also said that Bluefin has their own unsold stocks as well that haven't been purchased. And likely with SSJ Goku selling out, Amazon and other vendors may look to obtain what stock is left in Bluefin's warehouses.

Well, they need to cough up those SSJ Vegeta's, Trunks, Cell's, Freiza, etc and stop hoarding the treasures that are in that warehouse.

Well, I think it's safe to say their treasures of SSJ Vegeta and Trunks are gone. However, their magicals hoards of Cell, Frieza and Scouter Vegeta seem to reappear during conventions! Hmmmm....

The first reissue, did the head fall off easily like the original one? Or was the head better?

roshisurprise yeah he was, but I don't like the colors of manga ss goku, and of course I can't afford SDCC goku, so I'm using base goku's body and manga ss goku's head as an alternative.

Smart move Tamashii! Like I said, they need to keep the main character on the shelves!

I too would love to see them put Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo and the other main cast on the shelves, but we know Tamashii doesn't operate that way.
So at the very least, keeping Goku readily available shows support for the line and he's sort of the "gateway" character to the line. I've said it before that if anyone is likely to buy ONE figure from the DBZ Figuarts line, it's Goku. I'm sure he also carries the most consistent and highest sales across the entire line.

Agreed 100% about Goku. He's arguably the face of Dragonball. Although- that being said, I do find it odd that it took this long for them to get out a Basic Goku. Which, to be honest, I would rather see the Basic in constant production over SSJ simply because I find the extra bits in SSJ Goku to be very lacking.
